How it works

A remote session, step by step

1

Get in touch

Email us or use the contact form. Describe the fault once — we reply with a proposed session length and a fixed fee.

2

Remote session

We meet on a video call. Screen sharing starts when you join; any direct access needs your explicit per-session approval.

3

Diagnosis & next steps

You receive a written report: what we found, what we recommend, and the fastest safe route to a fix.

About

Small team, senior advice, no jargon

CAA Consultancy Limited has provided information technology consultancy since 2007. We are a deliberately small practice: the person who scopes your work is the person who does it. Advice is independent — we do not resell hardware or take commissions, so our recommendations only answer to your requirements.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

Which time zones do remote sessions cover?

Sessions are booked Monday to Friday, UK time, with morning-to-evening slots. Because delivery is fully remote, we routinely work with clients across the UK, Europe and the Americas — you pick a slot that fits your working day.

How is a remote session kept secure?

You stay in control: screen sharing starts only when you join the call, and any direct access to your device requires your explicit, per-session authorisation. We install nothing without your approval, and when the session ends, access ends with it.

Should I book one-off sessions or a subscription?

One-off sessions suit a specific fault or question — a fixed-length booking that ends with a written diagnosis. A subscription suits ongoing needs: a monthly plan with a published response window and a shared ticket pool. You can start with one session and switch later.

Can you help with hardware faults?

We diagnose hardware problems remotely and tell you exactly what needs repair or replacement, with specification advice so you can buy confidently. The physical repair or replacement itself is carried out by your chosen supplier.

How is my data protected?

We access only what you have authorised for the session, handle information in line with UK GDPR, and retain nothing beyond what is needed to deliver your report or manage your subscription. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Got a technology problem? Let's talk it through.

Describe the fault once — we take it from there. Every engagement starts with a short, free scoping email.
